Ibrahimovic is very upset at the rumours spurred by these pictures & has reacted to a Spanish "pink-press" TV reporter saying "Vente con tu hermana a mi casa y miras si soy maricón" (translated ..."Come to my place with your sister & you will see if I´m a gay") . It is curious to note that all this comes out just before FC Barcelona plays their most important & biggest game against Sevilla FC tomorrow were the Spanish League title could be finally decided between Barça & Real Madrid. The latest fall-out from the LIVERPOOL FC financial disaster is that REAL MADRID CF may get in on a possible “Liverpool FC Garage Sale” & bid for Captain STEVEN GERRARD. As “The Daily Mirror” puts on its online edition (above), Real Madrid could put on the Anfield table 34M€ to help easy the money pains & the worries of Steven Gerrard.
Three years ago Real Madrid made a serious attempt to lure the Englishman away from Liverpool which forced the Club to beef up his contract with an extension & more money. The news from England concerning REAL MADRID French forward KARIM BENZEMA is very insistent & at the same time confusing. According to the mayority of the English press sources MANCHESTER UNITED desires to get over for next season 22 year old Benzema to substitute Berbatov. In fact, these some sources suggest that Manchester United & Real Madrid, along with Benzema, are close to finalizing the deal.
However, English paper “Daily Mail” goes totally against the grain & publishes in its online section that Karim Benzema has told Clubs that he isn’t moving anywhere. He is conscious that this season has been difficult & not what he wished at Real Madrid, but his true desire is to stay & triumph in Madrid & is confident that next season things will be different. The French player made this clear a couple of days ago to Spanish TV saying that he did not come to Real Madrid for one year to later jump to another Club.
This should pour water over the English press fire rumours that insist that the Manchester United – Real Madrid – Karim Benzema offer-transfer deal is a shut case & about to come to a positive end. It seems “The Daily Mail” think differently – the only English paper it seems – if we are to believe todays news posted on their web.
Having said all this, there is a “universe” that separates the start of the new 2010-2011 season & anything can change, & will change in the World of Football.
Staying with REAL MADRID & with “The Daily Telegraph” the rumour is that CHELSEA FC has a PLAN B if their attempt to sign FERNANDO TORRES fails: GONZALO HIGUAIN. Chelsea FC will be prepared to put in an offer of 40M€ for the Real Madrid Argentine forward is they cannot do with the services of the star Liverpool FC Spanish striker.

SPANISH FOOTBALL | SOCCER | LEAGUE - LIGA 2009 / 2010 - ROUND 36 WEDNESDAY GAMES RESULT

The remaining six games left of the mid-week scheduled Round 36 have been played tonight of the Spanish League - Liga - with plenty of excitement still at the top of the classification & drama at the bottom with teams facing the real danger of saying goodbye to the Spanish 1º Division.
CRISTIANO RONALDO was the force that pushed a mediocre REAL MADRID along with keeper Iker Casillas onto a 1-4 victory over REAL MALLORCA to remain a point behind FC Barcelona with two matches left in the season. In fact, Ronaldo scored a HAT-TRICK ( 26th, 57th min & 72 nd min) to take his personal Liga goal tally to 25 goals. The other goal was scored by HIGUAIN in the 82nd min.
However do not let the scoreline fool you, the 1º half was a disaster for Real Madrid with Mallorca forward ADURIZ scoring in the 15th min & Real Madrid goalkeeper Casillas stopping three possible goals. It was the determination of Cristiano Ronaldo who single-handedly took the whole team onto his shoulders which solved all the problems by himself with 3 superb goals. The Portuguese was the man of the match & absolutely impressive.
ATLETICO DE MADRID found some lost Liga form to win 3-1 VALLADOLID & put the latter looking into the abyss of 2º Division. The goals for Atletico came from JUANITO in the 43rd min, JURADO in the 66th min & DIEGO FORLAN who is having an excellent run with the teams third in the 73rd min. For Valladolid their only goal came thanks to SESMA in the 77th min.
Complicated two rounds ahead for Valladolid!
SEVILLA FC "take off" Mallorca the Champions League 4ºth classification place with a good 1-5 whipping of RACING DE SANTANDER who also will have a complicated two remaining rounds. Sevilla FC forward NEGREDO scored twice ( 2nd & 88th min) along with KANOUTE with a penalty in the 21st min, NAVAS in the 46th & CAPEL in the 48th min. The only goal by Racing was by TCHITE who scored in the 66th min.
ATHLETIC DE BILBAO & MALAGA played a 1-1 draw with goals from TOQUERO (above) in the 4th min for Bilbao & DUDA in the 19th min for Malaga. Lots of opportunities for both throughtout the match with posts included.
REAL ZARAGOZA are firm relegation candidates & needed to win tonight at all costs. They managed to scrap a 1-0 victory over RCD ESPANYOL thanks to COLUNGA in the 78th min. They will need a miracle to stay in the 1º Division & tonight was a good start to look for it.
OSASUNA won a poor DEPORTIVO 3-1 with goals from CAMUÑAS in the 11th min, PANDIANI (above) in the 24th min & JUAN FRAN in the 32nd min. The only goal from Deportivo came from RIKI in the 15th min to cover-up a disasterous game which is part of a bad 2º round for Deportivo who are not able to achieve a victory from months back.
Two more Rounds left with the Spanish League title up for grabs & half a dozen teams facing relegation danger. Next Saturday ALL Round 37 games start at 21.00.

Yesterday I posted here the rumour that FC Barcelona, along with Manchester City & Chelsea FC, were planning to pounce onto Liverpool FC & lure away its prize jewel: FERNANDO TORRES.
Today English paper "The Daily Mail" publish that CHELSEA FC has taken the initiative & has already offered a staggering 77M€ (70M GBP) in a bid to sign the Spanish International for next season. This has clearly opened a "war" with Manchester City who were willing to fork out of their pocket 70M€.
My post yesterday followed the line that I doubt Torres will accept a Man City offer & that returning to Spain (FC Barcelona) may be the more viable option IF he was forced to leave Liverpool Fc due to the terrible financial situation - Coach Benitez may also leave. However, Chelsea FC is a different story, Fernando Torres may look favourably at moving to London because Chelsea can guarantee titles & a continued European presence.
In all cases, Torres is deep in thought in getting over his delicate knee injury & recoveing in time to play for the Spanish National Football Team.

Kemenangan 8-0 direguk Chelsea atas Wigan, Minggu (9/5/2010). Hasil itu menggenapkan poin 'Si Biru' menjadi 86, unggul satu angka dari Manchester United yang di saat yang sama menang 4-0 atas Stoke City.
Dengan demikian, Chelsea berhak menempati tahta juara Liga Primer yang tiga musim beruntun sebelum ini selalu diisi 'Setan Merah' yang kini harus puas jadi runner-up.
Keberhasilan ini menjadi kali ketiga untuk Chelsea di Liga Primer dan keempat kalinya secara total. Sebelumnya Chelsea menjadi juara di musim 1954–55 (Divisi Satu), 2004–05 dan 2005–06 (Liga Primer).
Selain jadi jawara musim ini, Chelsea juga mencatat rekor jumlah gol dalam semusim. Total 103 gol tim besutan Carlo Ancelotti itu kini menjadi yang terbanyak untuk sebuah tim Liga Primer.
Untuk MU, hasil ini membuat gelar juara mereka terpaku di angka 18 --tujuh di Divisi Satu dan 11 di Liga Primer. Alhasil, tim Sir Alex Ferguson itu pun gagal melampaui catatan Liverpool --kedua tim masih duduk bersama sebagai pemenang terbanyak Liga Inggris.
